Human spies continue to be the best intelligence sources

Interesting that soon after the publication of Minxin Pei’s recent book on the importance of human spying to China’s security services now comes a NYTimes story by Julian Barnes that the US CIA also believes that human sources are still the best insight into what dictatorships are seeking to hide.
